Prior to DAFFPL being bestowed with the Concessioning rights, the said facility was managed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).Indian Oil Sky tanking Ltd (IOSL) was appointed as a Operator of the facility to ensure quality & adequacy of ATF & also to maintain the infrastructure.
IOSL is a Joint venture Company between IOCL, Skytanking Holding GMBH (Germany) & IOT Infrastructure & Energy Services Ltd.IOSL derives its immense strength from its parent companies who are giants in their respective fields. Their rich experience & expertise in their own fields would ensure that IOSL will achieve its objective of becoming the best Aviation Fuel Facility operator.
IOT Infrastructure & Energy Services Ltd. (IOT), other constituents of IOSL, is a 50:50 joint venture between IOCL & Oiltanking of Germany. Oiltanking & Skytanking share the same parent company, namely Marquard & Bahls AG, Hamburg Germany. IOT is a leading infrastructure developing company for the oil Industry. IOT’s strengths are in EPC & O&M of independent & customers-dedicated terminals, & provide engineering & construction services to the petroleum sector in India & abroad.IOSL obtained exclusive service provider rights to carryout & complete the design, construction, & also to operate & maintain the Aviation Fuel Facility at Bangalore International airports Ltd. (BIAL) for 20 years.
The old assets of fuel farm facility, located at Shahbad Mohammad Pur, New Delhi with total capacity of 42,000 KL for ATF storage tank, fire fighting, pumping facility, BPCL hydrant system at international terminal T2, Cargo terminal & other related facilities.
