A Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India of the 1997 batch and a Commerce graduate from Delhi University, Mr. Puneet Jindal presently serving as Chief General Manager (Taxation) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s Corporate Office. In his present role, he leads the taxation function, guiding policy formulation, ensuring compliance, and representing the corporation in its engagements with government authorities and industry forums on critical tax matters and providing inputs for policy formulation.
In his 27-year career with Indian Oil, he has acquired extensive experience through assignments at State Offices, Regional Office, Refineries Headquarters, and the Corporate Office. His roles across taxation, finance, and internal audit have provided him with a well-rounded understanding of the corporation’s operations
His wide exposure, from field offices to the apex level, has helped him combine ground-level insights with strategic vision. He has played a key role in strengthening financial governance, driving tax efficiencies, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks, litigation handling while also contributing to policy advocacy at the industry level.
